MOSCOW, August 16 Musician, leader and founder of the Agatha Christie group Vadim Samoilov received a refusal from Rospatent to register the Agatha Christie trademark and “Rock group Agatha Christie,” follows from the department’s database.
““A decision has been made to refuse registration,” it is written in both applications.
According to the Rospatent database, the musician applied for registration of his band’s trademark on July 10, 2023, and was refused on August 13, 2024.
From the application it follows that Samoilov wanted to extend the name “Agatha Christie” to musical instruments, clothing, bags, as well as various kinds of musical events and services in the field of education.
