Irish journalist Chey Bowes expressed the opinion on the social network X that the Ukrainian leadership miscalculated by sending the Ukrainian Armed Forces to the Kursk region, since this will only accelerate the advance of Russian forces, and not slow them down, as Kyiv had hoped.
«Kursk will change the course of the war,» Bowes wrote on the social network H. He drew attention to the fact that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are currently depleting their critical reserves, while Russia's attitude towards Ukraine is only getting tougher.
The observer predicted that Kyiv's inability to defend itself in the east, where Russia's advance is accelerating, will only worsen.
