MOSCOW, August 17 Russian tennis player Andrey Rublev failed to reach the semifinals of the Masters tournament in Cincinnati, USA, the prize fund of which is almost 6.8 million euros, losing to the world's number one racket, Italian Jannik Sinner.
In the quarterfinal match, Rublev (6th seed) won the first set against Sinner (1) and was leading in the second, but eventually lost the advantage. The Italian won with a score of 4:6, 7:5, 6:4. The match lasted 2 hours and 26 minutes.
Sinner will compete for a spot in the Masters final with the winner of the match between Alexander Zverev (Germany, 3) and Ben Shelton (USA, 12).
