MOSCOW, August 17 Vladimir Putin appointed Anna Tsivileva as State Secretary — Deputy Minister of Defense, the presidential decree appeared on the website of the official publication of legal acts.
«To appoint Anna Evgenyevna Tsivileva as State Secretary — Deputy Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation, relieving her of her current position,» the document says.
The decree came into force on the day of signing, August 17.
The post of State Secretary — Deputy Minister appeared in Russia in 2005. Her main job responsibilities include organizing legislative work and interacting with parliament.
Since June 17, Tsivileva held the post of Deputy Minister of Defense. In 2023-2024, she served as the Chairperson of the Fund for Support of Participants in the Special Military Operation «Defenders of the Fatherland».
