
MOSCOW, August 19 In the German cities of Ludwigsburg and Kornwestheim, tens of thousands of people were left without electricity because of the marten, writes the SWR portal.
“According to Ludwigsburg utilities, the cause of the outage was a marten,” the publication says.
The animal is reported to have climbed into an electrical substation transformer and damaged the wires.
According to media reports, electricity in two cities went out at about 4:30 (5:30 Moscow time), it was restored only at 7:15.
The population of Ludwigsburg is about 100 thousand people, and Kornwestheim is over 30 thousand.
