MOSCOW, 8 Sep. An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.5 occurred on Wednesday in Tajikistan, according to the European-Mediterranean Seismological Center (EMSC). The earthquake was recorded at 05.20 UTC (08.20 Moscow time). The epicenter of the tremors was located 71 kilometers south-west of the village of Murgab, the focus lay at a depth of 10 kilometers. Information about possible injuries and destruction was not received.
