MOSCOW, January 1 Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree on awarding the builders of the Baikal-Amur Mainline (BAM) for their contribution to the construction of socially significant objects. According to the decree published on the official Internet portal of legal information, specialists are awarded for «a great contribution to the construction of socially significant objects of the Russian Federation.» Depending on the merits of each, construction workers received different awards. For example, Vasily Fomin, Advisor to the Chairman of the Board of Directors for Tunnel Projects of the Bamtonnelstroy-Most Joint Stock Company, received the Order of Merit for the Fatherland, IV degree, and the Adviser to General Director Vladimir Lobanov, the Order of Alexander Nevsky. The Deputy General Director of Bamtonnelstroy-Most JSC was also awarded the Order of Friendship «for the development and support of projects Andrey Anikin. The Medal of the Order of Merit to the Fatherland, 1st Class, was awarded to Maria Anichkina, Deputy Director General for Corporate Governance.
