The UN pinned high hopes on Russia's negotiations with the United States and NATO Stoltenberg noted that this agenda is intended «for a constructive dialogue in the interests of all» parties. Earlier, he said that NATO is ready for dialogue with Russia in the framework of the NATO-Russia Council meeting. At the end of 2021 of the year Russia published drafts of a treaty with the United States and a NATO security assurance agreement.
