The G7 expects from the Ukrainian authorities reforms aimed at a rapid reduction in the level of corruption and a more prosperous and stable economy.
The diplomats noted that it is not only important pass the law, but also ensure the implementation of the norm for all Ukrainians.
At the end of last year, the G7 called on Kiev to hold a competition for the election of the head of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office and to pass the law on the Security Service of Ukraine without further amendments. The reform of the SBU has been dragging on for several years. They try to pass the law, but after the first reading they send it back for revision.
