"I cannot name the types of these weapons now. Naturally, it exists. What we need, we passed the list to our partners. They pass it on to us. We have a great desire to have much more of it. We understand the scale of deliveries to other countries, and compared to what we have, this is an inadequate response. But even for this, many thanks", Danilov said in an interview with the website of the Television News Service (TSN).
According to him, Kiev has «calculations»: «In order for the Russian Federation to keep our territory under control, it needs at least 1.5 million military men.» «How many citizens of Ukraine are ready to take up arms in case of aggression?.. Five million immediately in the first week,» Danilov noted. Russia has repeatedly rejected accusations of the West and Ukraine of «aggressive actions,» that it does not threaten anyone and is not going to attack anyone, and statements about «Russian aggression» are used as an excuse to place more NATO military equipment near Russian borders. The Russian Foreign Ministry previously noted that Western statements about «Russian aggression» and the possibility of helping Kiev defend itself against it are both ridiculous and dangerous. At the same time, Kiev and Western states have recently expressed concern about the alleged increase in «aggressive actions» sides of Russia near the borders of Ukraine. Press Secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov said that Russia is moving troops within its territory and at its own discretion. According to him, this does not threaten anyone and should not worry anyone.
