A comment posted on the website of the Russian Foreign Ministry by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, says that on January 17, strikes were carried out on the capital of the UAE, Abu Dhabi, presumably from using drones.

Zakharova stressed that the Russian Federation calls on Ansar Alla to refrain from steps that could lead to a dangerous destabilization of the security situation in the region.
Arab coalition announced «We note with regret that such attacks are a direct result of the ongoing degradation of the situation in the Republic of Yemen (YR), the consequences of which are largely felt by the states located next to it,» the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry said. We reaffirm our principled position that there is no alternative to a peaceful settlement of the situation in Yemen through inclusive negotiations under the auspices of the UN to find political solutions, taking into account the legitimate interests of all leading political forces, confessional and regional groups in Yemen,» Zakharova said. She concluded that in «this context, again We urge the Special Envoy of the UN Secretary-General for Yemen to intensify his mediation efforts».
