The suspects in the brutal murder of 11-year-old Maxim Samofalov near Zaporozhye confessed to another crime. The detainees killed a 48-year-old woman who was considered missing, and threw her body into the river, reports the Chronicle.info with reference to RBC-Ukraine.
During interrogation, one of the suspects admitted that last September, he and a friend kidnapped and killed a woman born in 1973. Hostile relations became the reason for the murder.
In order to cover up the traces of the crime, the killers burned the victim’s belongings, and her body was thrown into the Taschenak River.
Today, November 19, the body of the murdered woman was pulled out of the reservoir between the villages Radionovka and Mirnoye, and sent for examination.
The suspects now face life in prison.
