MOSCOW, Jan 26 Russian chess player Sergei Karyakin tied with the reigning world champion Norwegian Magnus Carlsen in the game of the tenth round of the tournament in Wijk aan Zee (Netherlands). The game in which Karjakin played with white pieces ended after the 16th move. Russia's Daniil Dubov also lost with white pieces to Swede Niels Grandelius. In the standings, Carlsen retains the lead with seven points. Esipenko and Karjakin have 5.5 points each, Dubov has 3.5 points. Round 11 games will take place on Friday. The tournament is attended by 14 players who play in a one-round format. The competition will end on January 30th.
