MOSCOW, Jan 30 American Olympic champion Ryan Krauser has updated the world record in shot put shots indoors, the World Athletics press service reports on Twitter. The 29-year-old American pushed the projectile 23.38 meters at the annual The Millrose Games in New York. The previous record (22.82) belonged to him and was set a year ago at competitions in Fayetteville (Arkansas, USA). Then he surpassed the achievement of his compatriot Randy Barnes, which lasted 32 years, immediately by 16 centimeters. Krauser won Olympic gold in 2016 in Rio de Janeiro. He also took silver at the 2019 World Championships in Doha.
