Already this year, customs clearance of a car online can start working in Ukraine. This was stated by the Minister of Digital Transformation Mikhail Fedorov.
It will be possible to clear a car without leaving home through the public services application «Diya». According to Mikhail Fedorov, the new function will be launched before the end of 2022 — after the Verkhovna Rada makes the necessary changes to the legislation.
Recall that the Cabinet of Ministers announced online customs clearance last year and adopted a corresponding resolution in September, allowing it to run. Initially, it was planned that this would be a pilot project and it would work until December 31, 2023.
Customs clearance in a smartphone is currently at the testing stage. It is carried out in a fully automatic mode. Through the app «Diya» you can upload all documents for the vehicle, fill in the required forms, and then pay all customs duties and taxes online.
