The court in Grozny arrested the wife of Judge Yangulbaev for two months in the case of an attack on a policeman

On February 1, the Staropromyslovsky District Court of Grozny arrested Zarema Musaeva, the wife of former federal judge Said Yangulbaev, for two months. Mediazone was informed about this by the press service of the court.

Musaeva was sent to a pre-trial detention center until April 1 under part 2 of article 318 of the Criminal Code (use of violence against a security officer that is dangerous to life or health).

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the publication claimed, Musaeva was taken to the police department in Grozny after being detained in Nizhny Novgorod. The district police officer for the Akhmatovsky district of the city began to draw up a protocol against her when Musaeva “grabbed him by the left cheek with her right hand and scratched his face while trying to pull him away.”

The head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, who was the first to report the incident, claimed that Musaeva «attacked a police officer and almost took his eye.» The name of the injured policeman and the nature of the injuries were not specified.

The wife of the former federal judge of Chechnya, Saydi Yangulbaev, Musaeva, was detained in Nizhny Novgorod on January 20. She was forcibly taken for interrogation to Grozny in the case of fraud — Musaeva is a witness to him.

The next day, Kadyrov said that Musaeva had attacked a security official during the detention; then it became known about her arrest for 15 days. Authorities say the diabetic prisoner feels «normal».
