Bloomberg accidentally published a headline about Russia's invasion of Ukraine. The Kremlin commented that this “speaks of the danger of aggressive statements by the West”

About midnight Moscow time, a headline about Russia's invasion of Ukraine was published on the Bloomberg website, which led to a page with a server error. This was noticed by social media users, in particular, analyst Olga Lautman.

Lautman said that after 30 minutes, the title Live: Russia Invades Ukraine disappeared from the agency's website. Hours later, Bloomberg released a statement saying there had been an error. The agency apologized and promised to investigate how this happened.

“We are preparing headlines for many scenarios, and the headline “Russia invades Ukraine” was accidentally published

Today around 4pm ET on our website. We deeply regret this mistake,” the message says (quoted by RBC).

Press Secretary of Russian President Vladimir Putin Dmitry Peskov commented that what happened “speaks of the danger of aggressive statements by the United States and the capitals of the West.” He added that now “in the Kremlin, the term fake news can be replaced by Bloomberg news.”
