The Ministry of Internal Affairs (MVD) of the Russian Federation put Natalya Kornienko, director of the research laboratory for the development of the tax system at the RANEPA, on the wanted list. Relevant information appeared in the database of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

According to TASS and RIA Novosti sources, Kornienko was charged in absentia with fraud (part 4 of article 159 of the Criminal Code). In October last year, Kornienko was summoned for questioning as a witness in the case of former Deputy Minister of Education and former Vice President of Sberbank Marina Rakova, the interlocutors of the agencies specify. After the interrogation, Kornienko left Moscow for Chisinau, a source told TASS.
According to investigators, the head of the RANEPA scientific laboratory was involved in the theft of 20 million rubles allocated from the budget as part of the federal project «Teacher of the Future».
