MOSCOW, February 10, Sergey Fuks. Russian Premier League (RPL) invited representatives of the league clubs to discuss issues related to the introduction of FAN ID, RPL President Ashot Khachaturyants said. The law on the introduction of Fan ID will come into force on June 1. Earlier, the boycott of matches due to the adoption of the law was announced, in particular, by fan associations of Moscow Spartak, CSKA Dynamo and Lokomotiv, St. Petersburg Zenit, Rostov, Samara Krylya Sovetov and Kazan Rubin. «We indeed sent letters to the clubs asking them to assist in organizing such a meeting and we intend to discuss with representatives of the clubs working with fans all the current issues of introducing a fan card. Moreover, we intend to make such meetings regular,» Khachaturyants told reporters. The first meeting is planned to be held next week.» The RPL is a football organization that cannot influence the adoption of this or that state law. But as part of its implementation, we must do everything in our power to make the fans as comfortable as possible. This is our the main principle: both the League itself and the clubs are interested in seeing the audience of Russian football grow, and we want to understand what we can do in our real liah,» the speaker added.
