But we are not going to look at how our TV channel is discriminated against, squeezed out of the local information field. Our approach is simple: both the Russian media in Germany and the German media in Russia should to have equal, non-discriminatory conditions for work. We are ready for constructive cooperation with the German side on this issue. RT DE Productions is appealing the decision of the German regulator in court. The Russian Foreign Ministry explained that the TV channel operated on the basis of a license issued by Serbia and in full compliance with the European Convention on Transfrontier Television, to which Germany is also a party.
