
BEIJING, Feb 12 The Russian men's national ice hockey team lost in overtime to the Czech team in the final match of the group stage of the Olympic tournament in Beijing. The meeting of group B ended with a score of 6:5 (1:1, 2:1, 2:3, 1:0) in favor of the Czechs. The match was the most productive at the current Olympics. The winners included Tomasz Kundratek (13th minute), David Krejci (39th), Michael Spaczek (40th), Lukasz Klok (44th), Tomasz Ghica (49th) and Libor Šulak (65th). Vladimir Tkachev (5), Nikita Nesterov (33), Kirill Semenov (44), Arseniy Gritsyuk (47) and Andrey Chibisov (49) scored goals for the Russian team. Russian forward Dmitry Voronkov hit Lukas Sedlak in the head in the 38th minute and was sent off before the end of the game.
