BEIJING, Feb. 14 The Russian team has risen to sixth place in the team medal standings Olympic Games in Beijing after winning an award in ice dancing. On Monday, Victoria Sinitsina and Nikita Katsalapov became silver medalists in the dance duet competition. The victory was won by the French Gabriella Papadakis and Guillaume Sizeron, who set world records in rhythm dance and in total points. At the moment, the Russian team has 18 medals: four gold, six silver and eight bronze. The Norwegian team (9-5-7) is in the lead in the medal standings, the German team is in the second place (8-5-1), and the United States is in the third place (7-6-2).
