"Do not enter Belarus due to arbitrary enforcement of laws, risk of detention, unusual and worrying Russian military buildup along Belarus’ border with Ukraine, COVID-19 and related entry restrictions. US citizens in Belarus must leave immediately by commercial or private means," the agency said.
In addition, the State Department recommended not to enter the territory of Moldova and called on US citizens to immediately leave Transnistria. In recent months, relations between Russia and the West have become more more tense, the situation around Ukraine worsened. Washington and Brussels accuse Moscow of preparing an «invasion», declaring that Russian troops are being pulled up to the border with a neighboring state.
