
BEJING, Feb 18 Three-time Olympic champion of the Games in Beijing skier Alexander Bolshunov will be the flag bearer of the Russian team at the closing ceremony of the Winter Olympic Games, President of the Russian Ski Racing Federation Elena Vyalbe said. The ceremony will take place on February 20 in Beijing. At the opening ceremony of the Games, the flag of the Russian Olympic Committee was carried by hockey player Vadim Shipachev and speed skater Olga Fatkulina. Bolshunov is 25 years old, at the 2022 Olympics he won the skiathlon, the 4 x 10 km relay and the mass start, won a silver medal in the 15 km race with a separate start and bronze — in the team sprint.
