The Russian team at the 2022 Games won 32 medals (6 gold, 12 silver and 14 bronze) and took ninth place in the unofficial medal standings. In terms of the total number of awards, the Russians became the second and showed the best result in the history of performances at the Winter Games.
"The meeting was tentatively scheduled for March 4, but to date I do not fully know the information. Our athletes are preparing for the world championships, so their appearance at the event was initially in doubt. Now we can't say anything. If the meeting takes place on March 4, then we will not be able to take part", said Barysheva.
