Companions of politician Alexei Navalny found a villa in Italy with the chairman of the Federation Council, Valentina Matvienko.
According to investigators, the Matvienko family owns a villa on a plot of 26 hectares in Pesaro, Italy, 170 kilometers from Venice. Owns the site, according to the opposition, the Dominanta Foundation. Now the villa is being renovated, the customer of the work is the son of Sergey Matvienko.

On the Instagram of his wife Yulia, the politician's associates found photos from the villa. The details in the pictures match the drone footage of the villa.
Investigators note that it is «difficult to estimate the cost of the villa» as there are no other houses in the area with a plot of this size. Oppositionists estimate the cost of the villa at least 10 million euros — one billion rubles.
Matvienko supported the «use of the armed forces» of Russia abroad.
