I think the US government provides assistance, or at least in the past provided in the context of biosecurity,» Haynes said at a Senate Intelligence Committee hearing. She responded negatively to the senator's question whether it is possible to equate the presence in Ukraine of «objects» where biological research is being conducted, with «objects for the development of weapons,» which, according to Haynes, are not in Ukraine.
