MOSCOW, March 10 Dutch police suspect Spartak Moscow striker Quincy Promes in participation in cocaine trafficking and the activities of a criminal organization, according to De Telegraaf. Promes, along with family members, allegedly invested in a large consignment of cocaine, which was intercepted by the Belgian police in Antwerp in April 2020. The wholesale value of the drugs was 120 million euros. Promes's relatives are imprisoned for drug trafficking and money laundering, they also want to arrest the football player, this is only prevented by the fact that the striker is in Moscow. The Spartak player is also preparing to prosecute him for the attempted murder of his cousin, who in July 2020 Promes inflicted stab wounds. As part of the investigation into the drug case, Promes' phone was tapped. In one of the conversations that took place shortly after the stabbing, Promes admitted that he wanted to inflict fatal injuries on his cousin. Promes' contract with Spartak runs until the summer of 2024.
