Russian Embassy in Washington DC. File photoWASHINGTON, Mar 16 The Russian Embassy in the United States announced on its Telegram channel that it has set up a «hotline» for Russian citizens who have been attacked in the States.
"To the attention of Russian citizens and Russian compatriots living in the United States: in connection with the increasing cases of discrimination against Russian-speaking citizens on national, linguistic, cultural, religious and other grounds against the backdrop of the conflict in Ukraine, the embassy has created a special communication channel", the diplomatic mission said.
Citizens of the Russian Federation who are subjected to insults, violence and other forms of persecution, including threats to life and health, are advised to contact the special telephone number (202) 412-92-28, or via e-mail to usemb_hotline@inbox.ru. When applying, the embassy asks to leave contact details.
