File photoMOSCOW, Mar 17 During the implementation of US projects in Ukraine, six families of viruses have been isolated, including coronaviruses, three types of pathogenic bacteria, Igor Kirillov, head of the radiation, chemical and biological protection forces of the Russian Armed Forces, said following the results analysis of documents related to the military biological activities of the United States on the territory of Ukraine. According to him, Ukrainian laboratories were the main executor of the P-782 project — the transmission of diseases through bats. Moreover, the studies were systemic in nature and have been carried out since at least 2009 under the direct supervision of specialists from the United States within the framework of projects P-382, P-444 and P-568. «During the implementation of these projects, six families of viruses (including coronaviruses) and three species of pathogenic bacteria (causative agents of plague, brucellosis and leptospirosis). This is due to the main characteristics of these pathogens that make them attractive for infection purposes: drug resistance, rapid spread from animals to humans, and so on,» Kirillov said at a briefing .He stressed that the Russian military department has a number of documents at its disposal «confirming the transfer of biosamples taken in Ukraine to the territory of third countries, including Germany, Great Britain, Georgia.»
