
KHANTY-MANSIYSK, Mar 20 Russian skier Vladislav Lekomtsev won the sprint race at the Paralympic Games «We are together. Sport» in Khanty-Mansiysk in the category LW 2-9 (standing). The second place was taken by Alexander Pronkov, the third — Rushan Minnegulov. Two athletes took part in the women's sprint race in the LW 2-9 category. Russia's Yulia Mikheeva won gold, Belarus' Darya Fedkovich won silver. In the LW 10-12 (sitting) category, Russian Ivan Golubkov won the men's competition, Russian Danila Britik came second, and Belarusian Dmitry Loban came third. In women, the Belarusian skier Valentina Shits became the first, the second — the Russian Marta Zainullina, the third — her compatriot Akzhana Abdikarimova. In the category B1-B3 (with visual impairments) the Russian Oleg Ponomarev won the gold, another representative of Russia Vladimir Udaltsov won the silver, the bronze — the Belarusian Yuri Golub. In women's competitions, the first result was shown by the Belarusian Sakhonenko, the second — by the Russian Anna Panferova, the third — by another representative of Russia, Anastasia Bagiyan. The games «We are together. Sport» will end on March 20. Competitions are held in six sports — cross-country skiing, biathlon, curling, snowboarding, alpine skiing, sledge hockey. In addition to Russian athletes, Paralympic athletes from Belarus, Tajikistan, Armenia and Kazakhstan perform at the Games.
