Harry and Meghan made a generous donation in memory of Sergei Karaivan.
Many members of the royal family have already expressed their support for the Ukrainians in the difficult time of the war with the Russian occupiers. Now the world-famous spouses Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have joined the number of monarchs, reports the Chronicle.info with reference to Channel 24.
The royal spouses decided to donate funds to help Ukraine. Harry and Meghan, through their charitable foundation Archwell, transferred the amount to charitable organizations that support Ukraine. The stars wished to keep the amount of aid secret.
Harry and Meghan's generous donation was made in memory of Sergei Karaivan, an athlete and former participant in the Invictus Games, founded by the prince. Sergei defended Ukraine from Russian invaders and died heroically in one of the battles.
Let us add that Queen Elizabeth II herself sent financial assistance to Ukraine earlier. The Queen of Denmark, Margrethe II, also expressed her support. She sent about $150,000 to Ukrainian refugees.
