SukhumSUKHUM, Mar 26 Voting in the second round of the parliamentary elections has ended in Abkhazia, counting is in progress votes, the press service of the CEC of the republic told reporters. The second round of parliamentary elections started in Abkhazia on Saturday, March 26, polling stations were opened in 17 out of 35 districts. 34 candidates took part in the elections — 30 men and 4 women. In elections, one vote is enough to get ahead of an opponent. There are 35 deputies in the Parliament of Abkhazia. They are elected once every five years. The term of office of the current sixth convocation of parliament expires this spring.
