The case against the candidate of biological sciences became known on March 17. Then Boyarshinov was detained after searches in the case of inciting mass riots (Part 1.1 of Article 212 of the Criminal Code) because of messages in the telegram chat.
Later it turned out that the local department of the FSB opened a new criminal case against Boyarshinov. On March 19, the court placed him under house arrest.
