Vice Prime Minister Poland Jaroslaw Kaczynski said that Warsaw is open to the deployment of US nuclear weapons on its territory. But the initiative must come from Washington, reports the Chronicle.info with reference to RBC-Ukraine.
«If the Americans asked us to store US nuclear weapons in Poland, we would be open to this . This would greatly strengthen the containment of Moscow», — he said.
According to him, this question is not currently being asked, «however, this may soon change». He also stressed that the initiative should come from the Americans.
Recall that earlier Kaczynski stated that Poland would like to have nuclear weapons itself, but assessed this idea as unrealistic.
