On the eve of the song contest, the musicians will give charity promotional concerts.
Ukrainian band Kalush Orchestra, the winner of the national selection for Eurovision 2022, will perform live in Turin during the song contest, reports the Chronicle.info with reference to Focus.
Representatives of Ukraine at a popular music competition in Italy will perform live, and not on record, as previously expected due to hostilities in Ukraine. The band's frontman Oleg Psyuk announced this during a performance in Lviv.
Before «Eurovision» the group will arrange several promotional concerts around Europe to raise funds for the needs of Ukraine.
«Kalush Orchestra will travel to Turin to perform live at Eurovision . Today we met with the group for the first time in Lviv to rehearse together, not online. And soon we are going on a fundraising tour in honor of supporting Ukraine, within the framework of Eurovision», — said the frontman of the Kalush Orchestra.
Details of the promotional tour and the dates of the concerts in which the Kalush Orchestra will participate will be announced later.

Note that the final of the contest will take place on May 14, 2022 in Turin, Italy, because last year « Eurovision» won by the Italian rock band Måneskin. Ukrainian musicians will go to Turin with the song «Stefania», which Oleg Psyuk dedicated to his mother. Bookmakers predict Ukraine's victory in this year's competition.
