He noted that the plans include holding online competitions and online training for young chess players, creating artificial intelligence to detect «cheating» (computer prompts). Karjakin added that he hopes for the launch of the Russian chess portal as early as this year, which will allow him not to depend on Western platforms in chess. On March 21, the FIDE ethics commission disqualified Karjakin for six months for supporting the Russian special operation in Ukraine. Due to the disqualification, Karjakin will lose the opportunity to speak at the Candidates Tournament, which will be held from June 16 to July 7.
