File photoATHENS, Apr 4 A rally in support of Russia was held on Sunday in the city of Paphos in Cyprus, and hundreds of Paphos residents from Russia, Cypriots, Pontic Greeks, Belarusians and Syrians came out to it, according to the Cyprus News Agency CNA with reference to a police representative. The event began with a rally from the municipal parking lot on Grigory Afxentiou Street and ended with a rally in the port of Kato Paphos, where the participants were with Russian and Greek flags, said Michalis Ioannou, assistant police chief of Paphos. The participants chanted slogans in support of Russia and against fascism and Nazism. The event, which was held in the presence of the police, ended peacefully, the agency reports.
