MOSCOW, April 4 The Executive Board of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) approved the qualification system for the boxing tournament at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, according to the official website of the Russian Boxing Federation. The boxing tournament at the 2024 Olympics will be held in seven weight categories for men (up to 51 kg, up to 57 kg, up to 63.5 kg, up to 71 kg, up to 80 kg, up to 92 kg, over 92 kg) and in six women (up to 50 kg, up to 54 kg, up to 57 kg, up to 60 kg, up to 66 kg, up to 75 kg). At the Tokyo Games, competitions were held in eight weight categories for men and five for women. «I want to congratulate you all on this wonderful achievement!
