MOSCOW, Apr 4 Mexican referee Jesús Granados was injured after one of the boxers accidentally hit him during the fight. A video of the incident was published on the YouTube channel TV Azteca Deportes. Granados refereed the fight between Irvin Turrubiartes and Gerardo Valenzuela. Ten seconds before the end of the third round, Turrubiartes landed a right hook and hit the referee.Granados managed to stay on his feet, but soon dropped to one knee and sought medical attention. The referee was laid on the floor at the edge of the ring, after which the doctors examined him and carried him away on a stretcher. As a result of the fight, Turrubiartes won by knockout in the seventh round.
