
MOSCOW, Apr 12 The Russian Football Union (RFU) will file another lawsuit to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) against the International Football Federation (FIFA) and the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA).

Earlier, FIFA and UEFA issued a joint statement, according to which Russian teams and clubs were suspended from participation in all international competitions for an indefinite period, in connection with which, on March 24, the semifinal meeting of the Russian team with the Polish team did not take place as part of the butt mini-tournament for the right to reach the final of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. The RFU filed appeals against the decisions of FIFA and UEFA at CAS. The court denied the RFU's request for an expedited procedure for the consideration of the case, and later — the request for the suspension of interim measures in the case of UEFA and FIFA. The head of the RFU Alexander Dyukov reported that CAS should consider the appeals of the RFU against the decisions of FIFA and UEFA regarding Russian clubs and teams in April or May.
