MOSCOW, Apr 13Russia has expanded its blacklist to include almost four hundred US congressmen, follows from a message on the Foreign Ministry website. The diplomatic department noted that this was a reaction to another wave of anti-Russian sanctions imposed by the United States on March 24 against 328 State Duma deputies. «Mirror sanctions restrictions are being introduced in regarding 398 members of the US House of Representatives,» the Foreign Ministry said. Taking into account those US lawmakers who were denied entry to Russia earlier (such as Speaker of the House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi), «all US congressmen are subject to listing on the basis of reciprocity,» they added diplomats.

Many Russians were subjected to personal restrictions — first of all, they affected the country's leadership: President Vladimir Putin, Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, Interior Minister Vladimir Kolokoltsev, special representative for environmental protection, ecology and transport, member of the Security Council Sergei Ivanov and Deputy Chairman of the Security Council Dmitry Medvedev. In Moscow, the sanctions pressure was called an economic war, the likes of which have not yet been. But, as Vladimir Putin noted, the rejection of normal cooperation has already provoked a real energy crisis in the Western countries themselves.
