Improper nutrition. Harmful or difficult to digest food. Violation of the meal schedule. For example, you should not eat three hours before bedtime, and drink a glass of water 30 minutes before breakfast.
Bad habits. Alcohol and nicotine can harm the stomach, even if you adhere to a normal diet.
Stress. Problems with the nervous system, constant stress greatly affect the functioning of the stomach.
Rigid diets. You can’t impose any restrictions on your own, all diets should be discussed with your doctor. On your own and without consulting with specialists, you can only harm the body.
Insufficient amount of water. The body needs to get enough liquid for full functioning. And we must not forget about it.
How to help your stomach
First of all, you should carefully review your diet. Avoid sugary carbonated drinks. You can drink mineral water with salts and other additives. And you should also give up coffee for a while.
Remove smoked, pickled, baked foods from your diet. Reduce the amount of butter to a minimum.
Second, add fiber foods to your daily diet. These are fresh fruits, stewed and fresh vegetables, cereals.
If there are no problems with lactose, then dairy and sour-milk products can be included in the diet.
Thirdly, Movement is life. The minimum program is morning exercises, light jogging, a walk in the fresh air. If you need to go on business — go on foot or take a bike.
Well, and finally — follow the water norm. Drink clean water 30 minutes before meals. Drink every time you feel thirsty. Each person has his own rate of drinking water, but doctors recommend drinking at least 1.5 -2 liters of water per day.
How to help the stomach without drugs
It is not necessary to immediately run to the first aid kit and look for enzyme medicines or analgesics. You can use affordable home remedies that are great for atony.
- Peppermint, chamomile and St. John's wort tea. Brew and consume warm in small portions.
- Pour black elderberry with a glass of boiling water (1 tablespoon of leaves). Let it brew for 2 hours and strain. Drink 4 tbsp. spoons 20 minutes before meals.
- Infusion of dried fruits: figs, prunes, raisins, dried apricots and dates. Pour boiling water over and let steep.
- Chamomile and calendula herbal teas will help to start the stomach.
