MOSCOW, Apr 18 Claude Julien will be the head coach of the national team for the 2022 World Championships at the 2022 Beijing Games, according to the official website of the Ice Hockey Federation of Canada. Denis Joseph Smith and Andre Turigny will join Julien's coaching staff. Shane Doan will again take over as general manager of the team, his assistant will be Rick Nash. The Canadian team led by Julien at the Beijing Olympics reached the 1/4 finals, where they lost to the Swedes. The World Championships will be held from May 13 to 29 in Finland. Team Canada is the reigning world champion.
