MOSCOW, April 22, Oleg Bogatov. President of the All-Russian Federation of Rhythmic Gymnastics Irina Viner -Usmanova said that it is difficult to explain the reason for the suspension of two-time Olympic swimming champion Yevgeny Rylov after attending a concert-rally in Luzhniki, as well as the motives for sanctions against other Russian athletes. The International Swimming Federation (FINA) on Friday announced the suspension of Rylov at 9 months from competitions under the auspices of the organization. Earlier, the FINA disciplinary commission opened a case against Rylov for participating in a festive concert, which took place on March 18 at Luzhniki in honor of the Day of Crimea's reunification with Russia. The All-Russian Swimming Federation stated that it would take upon itself the protection of Rylov's interests in this matter. «(Skier) Alexander Bolshunov was also removed, after all, who won five medals at the Olympics. This, of course, is all clear, although sport is out of politics. My opinion has always been fair «I am a person who always stands for justice, and I say about it what it really is. And here the normal mind does not fit and it is impossible to predict something. Because it is impossible to determine what (international organizations) will come up with and what will happen in the future with our athletes,» Viner-Usmanova said.
