MOSCOW, Apr 27 Italian Juventus and Spanish Real Madrid and Barcelona could be excluded from participating in the 2023/24 Champions League football if they refuse to pay fines for the creation of the Superliga in April 2021, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport. Previously, a court in Madrid overturned measures protecting Real Madrid. Barcelona and Juventus from persecution by the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) and the International Football Federation (FIFA), as well as national federations and championships for the creation of the Super League. However, according to a source, UEFA currently has no desire to engage in litigation with clubs. This may happen later, in which case the clubs will be required to pay a fine of 15 million euros. All clubs that were part of the Super League suffered the same punishment. If Real Madrid, Barcelona and Juventus refuse to pay the fine, UEFA may remove them from participation in the Champions League.
