What is lend-lease?
During the Second World War, Lend-Lease was a system through which the United States transferred ammunition, equipment, food and strategic raw materials, including oil products, to its allies, partially or free of charge.

What the lend-lease law guarantees for Ukraine:
- U.S. President Joe Biden will have expanded powers to lease or the transfer of defensive means to Ukraine from Russian aggression, as well as other purposes;
- after the adoption of the act, Biden must establish accelerated procedures for the supply of products within 60 days;
- the law provides for a significant acceleration of deliveries to Ukraine for arms, transport, food and aid from the United States;
