The band is preparing for Eurovision.
KALUSH Orchestra, which in 2022 year will represent Ukraine at the international Eurovision Song Contest, shot a new video for their hit «Stefaniya». This clip was recorded at the House of Scientists in Lviv, especially for the party «Eurovision House», reports the Chronicle.info with reference to RBC-Ukraine.
The first frames of the video are immediately striking — the musicians enter the hall of the House of Scientists, where mattresses with a bed are laid out on the floor. This symbolizes the reception of internally displaced persons who seek refuge in the cities of Ukraine from Russian shelling and bombing.
The musicians also slightly changed the sound of the melody for the composition «Stephania». Dulcimer sounds are now distinct at the beginning of the song. And then the drum part was changed. In general, the whole song sounds different.
The new sound of the hit «Stefania» was enjoyed by numerous fans. They noted in the comments that the song sounds more interesting in this version.
- In this version, the melody is sweeter and more goosebump-inducing than the original. Good luck guys, greetings from Turkey!
- Mattresses on the floor in Lviv… This symbolism hits the heart. Thanks guys for a great version! Good luck.
- I could hear the pain in their voices and that, combined with the creepy minimalism of the performance, gave me goosebumps.
- Absolutely amazing in every possible way. Good luck in Turin.
- This version is perceived differently. My heart breaks, tears in my eyes, although I have heard the song many times already.
By the way, almost all bookmakers predict Ukraine's victory at Eurovision
