The First Lady of the United States plans to visit Romania and Slovakia this week, where more than a million Ukrainians have left.
US First Lady Jill Biden will visit Eastern Europe to meet with Ukrainian refugees, reports the Chronicle.info with reference to Correspondent.
Jill Biden plans to leave Washington on Thursday, 5 May to visit Romania and Slovakia, two NATO member countries that border Ukraine. More than a million Ukrainians left here.
The First Lady will stop at the Mihail Kogalniceanu air base in Romania, where US military personnel are stationed. In Bucharest, she will meet with Romanian leaders. Mother's Day (celebrated this year on May 8) will be spent in Kosice and Vyshne Nemecko, Slovakia, with Ukrainian mothers and children, and then travel to Bratislava to meet government officials.
