A large warehouse burned down at night on the Kudinovskoye highway in the urban district of Bogorodsky in the Moscow region. This was reported by the agency «Moscow» with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
The fire with an area of almost 34 thousand square meters, which was assigned an increased rank of complexity, was put out only in the morning.
109 people and 37 pieces of equipment worked at the site. During the fire, the warehouse structures partially collapsed.
A TASS source in the Ministry of Emergency Situations said that the fire occurred in a warehouse with textbooks and other printing on the territory of a warehouse complex with an area of 112 hectares.
Mash and REN TV wrote that the burned-out premises in the Atlant Park complex were rented by Prosveshchenie, one of the largest publishers of educational and pedagogical literature in the country, as well as Stock Trading, which stored textiles and household appliances.
There were no reports of casualties in the fire and its causes.
